Of course, internet is also widely applied. About seven years ago our first videos were at disposal on internet. Now we start using our own video channel on YouTube and try to present clips worldwide. That is why all clips have besides Czech description an English one as well. The videos show both usual Czech species and rarities. You can enter our video channel from our website:

Conservation is one of the biggest topics of our society, so the protection of birds is very important aspect of todays ornitologhy. This article describes conservation activity in the Svitavy region (Eastern Bohemia)  where bird boxes, drinking fountains for animals, feeders, perch for birds of prey were instalated last year. Local conservationists such as Jiří Mach, Filip Jetmar, Petr Zobač, Luboš Novák, Milan Janoušek and Ondřej Hrubý also cleaned up the Hvězda pond (the biggest pond in the territory)  and local forests . They also tried to interefere in „problematic official cases“ such as harmful activity in protected areas and have been intersting in monitoring of birds . We hope that the efforts will bring good results in next years.
